ALAF is the umbrella for the Anglo/Latin American bilateral societies in the UK and supports events which raise funds for disadvantaged children in Latin America.
Based in Mexico, the Foundation was created in 1943 to strengthen the ties between Mexico and Great Britain by exploring each country’s culture and language, with English classes, English teacher training and a host of cultural events.

BritSoc offers a program of social and educational activities and welcomes all English speakers to its extensive range of events. It aims to build up and facilitate a range of enjoyable events and activities, such as restaurant, pub, dance and film nights, bridge, Spanish conversation and play reading. Apart from these, there are several one-off events that are run throughout the year such as, the annual Gala Ball, Mexico’s exclusive Guy Fawkes Night and a St. George’s Day dinner. With something to offer to all ages and all tastes BritSoc welcomes members of any age, from eight to eighty (and beyond!).
